Assessing Your Cyber Security
We start with an initial scoping questionnaire to explore your existing security environment, highlighting via GAP analysis, any requirements that need to be addressed to protect your business against Internet threats and achieve Cyber Essentials certification.
A second, more detailed assessment allows us to identify and agree on the technical and process controls you would like to implement. You have the option to deploy a subset of these recommendations, all of them or add further services to achieve security in a wider network environment.
What Is Cyber Essentials Certification And Why Do I Need It?
The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) promotes a minimum level of security known as Cyber Essentials. This government backed scheme defines the controls needed to address common cyber-attacks. Revisions made in January 2022 have brought employee-owned devices and cloud applications into the mandatory scope. This, alongside Cyber Security Insurance companies now requiring a certain level of compliance before insuring an organisation, has greatly enhanced the credibility of carrying a Cyber Essentials certification.
